Best CRM for Contractors

Contractors don't need a CRM built around email newsletters. You need to track every lead and bid from the first call to signed work, and it helps if tasks and scheduling live nearby. I picked these five based on who each tool is built for and what its plans include, matched to how a crew or owner-operator works. They're not ranked, and every price below comes from the vendor's own pricing page.

Some links are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, crmpicks.org may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. How that works.

Pipedrive is for sales teams that want a highly visual, pipeline-first CRM. For a contractor, that means every open bid sits in a stage you can see at a glance, so nothing goes cold because it got buried. It's a sales tool first, so it won't run your jobs once they're won.

Cheapest paid plan

Lite at US$14/seat/month billed annually (US$168/seat/year). The monthly-billing price wasn't shown on the page.

Prices last checked October 22, 2026

Watch out

Only annual prices are confirmed. The page says annual billing saves up to 42%. Higher tiers billed annually are Growth at US$39, Premium at US$59 and Ultimate at US$79 per seat/month.

Bitrix24 is built for very small teams that want an all-in-one suite: CRM plus tasks, telephony and chat in one flat-rate product. That fits a small crew that would rather pay one price for the whole company than per person. Tasks come with Kanban and Gantt views, which works for lining up jobs.

Free plan

Available

The plan card says 100% free for 1-2 users, with 5 GB storage, basic CRM (deals, contacts), 1 pipeline, tasks (Kanban, Gantt), shared calendars, and chat and video calls.

Cheapest paid plan

Basic at US$49/month billed annually, or US$69/month billed monthly. That's a flat price per organization and includes 5 users.

Prices last checked October 22, 2026

Watch out

The free-plan user limit is contradictory: the plan card says 1-2 users, but the FAQ says unlimited. Basic caps at 5 users, so a bigger crew forces an upgrade. Separate Vibe+ launch-offer prices (Basic Vibe+ at US$59 annual or US$89 monthly) run until Dec 10, 2026 and renew at regular prices.

Insightly is made for small businesses that want CRM plus built-in project management. For contractors, that's the handoff that matters: a won bid can turn into a project in the same system instead of a separate spreadsheet.

Cheapest paid plan

Plus at $29/user/month billed annually (USD). The monthly-billing price wasn't shown on the page.

Prices last checked October 22, 2026

Watch out

The ladder is steep: Plus ($29) to Professional ($49) to Enterprise ($99) per user/month. The All-in-One bundle runs $349-$2,599/month and lists required extras: AppConnect setup at $3,000, guided onboarding at $1,500, and premier support at 20% of license ($3,000 minimum per year).

Bigin is aimed at very small businesses and solopreneurs who want a simple pipeline CRM. If you're an owner-operator, it's a low-cost way to stop tracking leads in your texts. The free plan includes a booking page, which could take estimate requests.

Free plan

Available

Single user, 500 records, 1 pipeline, 3 automations, 1 booking page.

Cheapest paid plan

Express at $7/user/month billed yearly, or $9/user/month billed monthly.

Prices last checked October 22, 2026

Watch out

The free plan allows only 1 user and 500 records. Express caps at 3 pipelines, 50,000 records and 30 automations. The pricing page contradicts itself on tax (it says prices include local taxes, then that taxes are added).

monday CRM is for teams already using monday.com who want their CRM on the same platform. If your crew already plans work on monday.com boards, keeping leads there too makes sense. Basic also includes up to 20 quotes/invoices per month.

Free plan

None

None. There's a 14-day free trial.

Cheapest paid plan

Basic at $12/seat/month billed annually, or $18/seat/month billed monthly. Plans start from 3 seats.

Prices last checked October 22, 2026

Watch out

The 3-seat minimum inflates the entry cost. Basic caps at 1,000 active contacts and deals, 1 custom dashboard, 5 columns per board and 20 quotes/invoices per month. The page is inconsistent on the annual discount (the toggle says save 33%, the FAQ says 18%), and prices exclude tax and vary by billing country.

FAQ

Which one is cheapest for a small crew?

It depends on headcount. Bitrix24 Basic is a flat US$49/month billed annually for the whole organization, including 5 users. Per-user tools like Bigin Express ($7/user/month billed yearly) can come in lower for one or two people. Bitrix24 also has a free plan, though its user limit is listed inconsistently.

Which ones handle projects or tasks, not just leads?

Insightly includes built-in project management. Bitrix24 includes tasks with Kanban and Gantt views plus shared calendars.

What's the catch with Bitrix24's Vibe+ pricing?

It's a launch offer. Basic Vibe+ is US$59 annual or US$89 monthly until Dec 10, 2026, and it renews at regular prices after that.

Can I try these before paying?

Yes. Pipedrive, Insightly and monday CRM each have a 14-day free trial. Bitrix24 and Bigin have free plans.
